Climate change and rising water is upon us. Extreme flooding is devastating and deadly, but what about nuisance flooding? Imagine the challenges of everyday life living in one foot of water. For example, social gatherings with family and friends, traffic jams on the commute to work, and children going to school. This project visually expresses the challenges of adapting our lives amidst the circumstances of continual sea level rise.

The images are meant to be a satirical exposé of the facets of modern living in over a foot of water.  This series consists of five surrealistic photographic scenes of people going about their daily functions, with the subtle transparency of water surrounding them, in order to showcase the effects of rising water and its eventual devastating and very realistic outcomes.
